    Temps:)

I always wondered what your name meant. In French it means "time"so I thought that could have been the meaning as well:)

What a unique idea to write a poem based on your poets name, I bet Danny made this challenge!

About your poem: I loved how you worded your desire and the images that floated through this readers head reading it, but I have to tell you someting and it comes from being around for a long time: there are so many kinds of love, love for life, for yourself, for your family, friends, pets, your study/ job...The romantic love you speak of most surely is the most important one and I think all souls seek to find it or try to hang on to it once they have found it. I think it just happens, Temps. Many times in my life it just happened in the strangest of circumstances or situations an always at times when I was not looking. I do remember that every time it happened I felt happy already and I think that is what caused the men to feel attracted to me: the fact that I seemed happy already and not looking for romance.
Many people speak of love, but few know what it is,Temps. Once you try to grasp it, or hold on tight to the other one it vanishes..it is to be savoured in silence and treasured without trying to cage it ( him).
Just my thoughts on the matter, things I tell my teenage son and other young people I come across. I hope you will find something within my words that will be of use to you, some way ot the other:)

    *hugs*

Temps, this was a very unique write I thought, and I am sure glad I read it. I really enjoyed this whole piece, I felt like you put so much effort into it. I really liked the first line in the second stanza, "Swimming thousands of oceans" that just caught my eye. The imagery portrayed was deep and I thought orginal, you did a beautiful job with this piece. I love your vocabulary too, it wasn't cliche but deep and intense. 5/5 from me, I enjoy reading your poems. Take care and keep writing, always and forever...
