Suddenly solemn eyes

Suddenly solemn eyes

Standing high upon a mountain,
Looking to the floor.
You'll see us standing there,
With frowns upon our faces,
And tears falling through the air
From my suddenly solemn eyes.
This mountain seemed so safe up high.
surrounded by our fortress.
No wind
Nor water
Not even fire
Could break through the walls that hold us here.
So neatly built,
So tighly stacked,
No way in, and no way out.
You're getting cramped in here.
You need to spread your wings.
No Angel can live happy here.
No boundaries can hold them in.
So spread your wings my love.
And sore your way through the air.
I know you have to leave my love.
But i'll stay here.
I pray to you my love.
That you'll come soring back.
I hope you love this tormented soul
as much as she loves you.
Because I'll be waiting for the day
The tears need not fall from her suddenly solemn eyes.
