The end

by mzlovehate   Jun 11, 2009

They didnt get the fairy tale ending.
They didnt end up happy with each other.
They didnt even end up together.

He ended up selling doves to bird-keepers
And grass to gardeners. He left his queen
Just to go find an aspiring princess.

Yellow lies outlined his body
Like a homicide victims.
He use to be her noble king,
But now, he is:
A liar, cheater, and a man with a sophistic heart
Incapable of providing true love and happiness.

So, she no longer had feelings;
She shoveled them away like
People do snow in a Januarys blizzard in Chicago.

She cried the truth
And refused to be used again.
She made the volition to never love again,
But to be both: king and queen.
She didnt need a prince-charming to rescue her,
Shed do it herself.

She had lost trust
Like a pauper who lost his sight at the age of ten
After being exposed to the electromagnetic spectrum.

So now, they never got the fairy tale ending.
They didnt end up happy.
They didnt even end up together.
