I find that if my poems get no comments there must be a reason for it and I do as you do try to find out what is wrong and edit it or rewrite it completely. I wish I could read the original version and compare it with what I have just read.
I understand what the poem is about and I found that it is very well written its flow is good and its meter gives it good balance.
I am not going to pull it apart as a lot of commenter's do as I think it stands okay as it is. I enjoyed it and after reading it through four times each time I was drawn to the emotion and feeling put in it and for that alone I would give it an excellent but I will be adding it to my weekly competition list as this is one of the best I have read this week well done 5/5 Ray S

It is written so beautifully. the flow is so perfect to it. You showed alot of emotion that is very understandable to the reader. I think you did a wonderful job and i will be reading some of your others. 5/5

This piece was so beautifully written with an amazing vocabulary as well as rhyme scheme.

I'm not sure if it was what you were after but it somehow brought a few tears to my eyes. I guess I can relate to it in my own way.

This style is something I would strive for if I had the confidence. I love the depth of this poem and the theme penetrates my own heart soul and mind

That poem had alot of emotional depth and good vocabularly. i also like how you used a free rhym scheme in it. but i found it was lacking in rythm. quite a few people dont bother much with rythm but i like to read poems aloud so i consider it quite important thats only my opinion though so you might aswell take it with a pinch of salt. otherwise it was a good poem 4/5
