Gun

by BloodyBrokenAngel   Jun 12, 2009

The tears slid down
As she laid the gun at her side
She was ready
Her heart had had enough pain
She wanted it to be over
She hated the heart-ache she went through everyday
The pain had grown too high
Nothing mattered anymore
Love shouldn't hurt this much
She was pushed to the edge
And she was ready to do whatever to get rid of the pain
She knew this would stop the pain in her heart
But would it cause pain in anothers?
She didn't know anymore
How many people actually cared?
She knew at least one did
And she didn't want to hurt him
But what else was there to do?
She hated this
She wanted the pain gone so badly
But she didn't want to hurt her love
The only person she'd ever loved
The second-guessing was killing her
As she held the gun to her head
Tears streamed down her cheeks
She couldn't hold it off any longer
And as she got ready to pull the trigger
She knew she couldn't do it
Her love was far stronger than her pain
And as she drooped the gun
It went off
And everything went black
