This Vision, A Hope! All Is Null Tonight.

by Indian Comma Bean   Jun 13, 2009

The sound of silence...
Mental frailty just cannot withstand.
Hairline fractures erupt; crimson as they are,
These eyes have justified this nullity.

Without warning, panic ignites,
Like lightning, unaware of where it strikes.
This thunder in my heart, a sentiment
Of the anger that has set my words ablaze.

Like the bows upon my troubled mind,
This frustration branches out in spite of hope.
Thoughts, charred and ashen, relinquish
Their position; slowly writhing in their descent.

Such as the prey would act in fear,
Alone in the nocturne, I am staggering.
The trail of blood, swiftly hidden by the wolves,
My home, a thought, a memory, a cry!

Smothered by the sound of silence.
