Unexplainable

by Katie Makena   Jun 15, 2009

Sitting on the porch
Watching all the stars
Trying to hide all the pain
And all the old scares

It doesn't matter now
Thats all behind me
Maybe I should start over
So I can clearly see

I look into the mirror
Into those bright blue eyes
Sparkling in the light
To what of my surprise

I just heard the thunder
My day is about to begin
Its a scary thought
But I guess Ill have to give in

I walk back outside
To stand in the storm
I want to see mother nature in action
Just once more

I hate to admit it
No one knows why
Not even myself
As of why I began to cry

The wind picks up speed
I get a glimpse of the sky
I widen the spread of my arms
And from there I pretend to fly

I pretend I can fly far
Far away enough from this place
To be somewhere
To just have a smile on my face

I'm not sure if thats what I really want
We will just have to wait and see
Who knows, it may
Turn out to be the real me

Your a good writer and with some work you can be alot better. You dont need all the words to complet the sentence, just the key words. read a few of mine and you'll see what i mean. keep going
