Lies of a butterfly

by guy named Guy   Jun 16, 2009

Its beauty astonishes us
with its rhythmic presence
as it lingers in the air
but within its clever disguise
its true life takes form
from its once darkened prison
with this evil taken
and the ground beneath shakened
running with fear
we see the truth
behind the lies
once sought to be amazing
now brings destruction
for so was the glamor
now is the disgust
with it all high above
we fall to our knees
to this now darkened butterfly..
