A true tale of failure as a parent.

I can't see through all the Lie's,
All the bull$hit that covers my eye's.
Every little thought that's muddled up in my brain,
All the doubt and worry that drives me insane.
I can't be everything you want me to be,
I'm no longer living the life you wanted to see.
You're a low life with moral's lower than dirt,
I hate you; I bet that doesn't hurt.
Because you live like you did nothing wrong,
Even though you have been a mess all along.
You took my innocence; and broke my heart,
I'm your daughter but we are torn apart.
You will never be a mother to me not in my eye's,
you're the reason I would always cry.
You are my friend; even though you beat me,
But you aren't my family; why can't you see?
We have so much in common; with all of our problem's,
But you were never there for me to save me from the monster's and goblin's.
