At the Top of a Hill

by PassionCourageTriumph   Jun 17, 2009

At the top of a hill
An old oak tree sways
Giving glimmers of light through its leaves
Allowing the silky silver aura of the moon to highlight his features
Like it does to the ocean's breathing bay

Lay your head down
Get lost is the sound of his heart beating
Feel the movement of his chest
In the flow of his breath you begin to drown

Such a sweet way to die
Though you are already in heaven
Held so close in those amorous arms
Seeing the twinkle of love in his eye

I am the moon
He is my sun
He gives me light and life; my being rotates around him
As the poetic words uttered from his lips across the sky are strewn

The oak sways
Breathing in beat with his sweet inspiration
Leaves dancing down to gently brush our skin
Setting our senses a blaze

Our energy starts to fuse
I can feel the emotions as they beckon me closer for a single kiss
Our lips collide in an embrace of absolute passion
Setting off fireworks of every hue

This moment is ours as the world stands still
The incommunicable sensation of such love
Is what was discovered
Under an old oak tree
At the top of a hill

Liked it a lot... It reflects a great passion for love and like how it bridges the starting and the ending.
Great work. Mind if i give you a 4/5 ??

Anyways, it doesnt matter...its still very well imagined and perfectly presented.
    Cheers!!!
