Love's Kiss

I awake early each morning
a smile upon my face.
My heart feels warm and tender
together, by God's grace.

I still feel like I'm dreaming
I can't believe we're here.
Laying close beside you
there's nothing I need fear.

Your hand it feels so tender
your eyes they kiss my soul.
You are the very heart of me
For once I am one whole.

This one is short but sweet, a love that is blessed by God effects us all in more ways than we could possibly ever know.

    I well written piece as always Lisa, a poem you should be proud of for sure, welcome back! also, the last sentence in stanza 1, it should be together, not togeather, just to make it look better. Tim
