Sorrow-filled hearts
As we get past this part.
Let's take a minute to go back
And look at who you were in fact.
You were a great friend
And we'll think of you without end.
Your parents had a great son
For all the things that you have done.
Even though you are gone
We'll still remember you like a song.
You still live on in our hearts like a ringing bell
And we will always remember you, Miguel.
* this poem was written for a boy that was in my 8th grade class this past year that has passed away back 2 weeks before Christmas. We all miss you Miguel*
"Sorrow-filled hearts

This part is in a way deep. I especially like "You were a great friend, And we'll think of you without end" I see that it rhymes, and it's the good kid of rhyme, it fits.
"Even though you are gone
We'll still remember you like a song.
You still live on in our hearts like a ringing bell"
That was my favorite part in the whole poem, I like that you refered remembering him like a song, because people usually don't forget songs. =] Also, the part about living in your hearts like a ringing bell, that was just touching. It is nice that you care for this boy that much.
It was really good, I wish it was longer..
4/5 Keep on writing.
