Sunset

Today I saw the sun set,
The sadness of another day ending
Was like a pin through my heart.

Today was the day I finally said good bye
To you and the sadness that holds me back.
I love you, but pain I can't take any more

Walk away and be happy
That is what you wish for right?
I feel hurt
I want to run as fast as I can,
To reach the happiness only you brought me.

Today as I watch the night fall
A tear falls.
Another story has ended,
But a new beginning will start.

I tell myself I'll be ok,
But just as the sunset
I feel forgotten.
