Why did this have to happen to you?
You never deserved this, you never did anything wrong.
It was just a few days before you passed away,
the doctors said you might not make it.
We went to go see you,
hoping that it wouldn't be the last time.
You struggled to hold onto life,
and you tried to fight it the best you could.
It hurt me so much to see you in pain.
I prayed to God that you'd be alright.
Then a few days later,
I guess it was time for you to go.
We couldn't believe you were actually gone.
I never got the chance to say a lot of things to you.
I wondered why God didn't answer my prayers.
But I know you're in a better place now,
and you're not suffering anymore.
But even until this day, I still don't want to
accept the fact that you're really gone.
It's been a month now, and I'm sitting
here listening to your favorite song with
tears rolling down my cheeks.
Now i only have memories of you,
and I'll keep that forever.
Your laughter and your smile will
always be in my mind.
No one will ever forget you, I hope you know that.
One day, we'll meet again at heaven's gates.
