Falling into infinity

by ADifferentSoul   Jun 20, 2009

Fallen in the woods
Feeling the hatred of the trees clouding over me
Choking me, for no breath is left within
Hearing the screams chasing me
They are gaining on me
In a few gasps of air, it will all be over
I try to stand my ground
But something is holding me down
I fight free from the claws that bind me
I keep running, running towards the unknown
A while later, no sound to be heard
The screams vanished into thin air
I look behind, no sign of danger
I turn around and i find myself in the desert
I look for a way out
But i just find more emptyness beyond the horizone
I feel the earth under me vibrating, opening up
The vast crack coming closer
I look for a way to safety
But everywhere is doomed
I fall into the vaccum
Falling into eternal infinity
No use of fighting
The only thing i dwell myself in
Is how life will be, for you are without me
I think of our time together
Of the memories we shared
Now, sadly, only dying memories
For my final words
I look up and say
Forgive me..
