Tomorrow.

by Mushh   Jun 21, 2009

Tomorrow will be better, Just hold on tight today,
I know it's hard but what i need from you, is to wipe those tears away.
Lay down your tired head, Upon the heart that pounds,
Close your heavy eyes, Until silence screams aloud.

Toss and turn for hours, the stars are fading out,
The sun begins to rise again, and you've begun to doubt.
Never learn to trust again, Never learn to love,
They've taken away the soul of you, And you have suffered enough.

Anger floods the veins, Like a poison you can't control,
Madness taking over, As the truth begins to unfold.
Where did she go wrong? Why did she take that turn?
Heroine, crack, and Ecstasy? Wow, did that not hurt?

Money? Money? Money? Where did she get the cash?
Mini skirts and bikini tops, How long did this last?
Her body no more than an object, sold for another fix,
She used to be so beautiful, What turned her into this?

And you are left alone, to cry, to bleed, to scream,
a vulnerable child with a loss of hope, who survives because she believes.
Tomorrow will be better, just hold on tight today,
If you say this every morning, eventually, you'll be okay.

This is an awesome poem. It really makes you wonder what drives people to do it. And its sad how nobody knows the reasons because they dont bother to ask sometims..
