Humming A Sad Song

As tears poor down from the sky,
And lightning lights the clouds up high,
I sit here crying,
All soaking wet,
Only trying to make myself forget.

Now I'm humming that sad little song,
Solely trying to find the path that belongs,
Sitting here out in the pouring rain,
Just trying to wash away all my pain.
