Gorgeous, beautiful and sweetie
All words used to suck me into your lies
Thinking that you really give a damn about me
Wrong seems to be my middle name
Trusting you with everything was my greatest mistake
Telling you everything there was to know
Promising you everything, you promised your life
Sometimes promises are made to be broken
Long days spent together
Full of laughter, fun and cuddles
Turning up one day, wanting to see your smile
Seeming distracted I ask what's wrong
"Nothing" you say
Hand in hand we walk down the street
Wave to my mother as she drives past
All of a sudden you turn around
Across the street is a girl
She looks like a close friend has died
Turning around, I realise the same look is on his face
Horrified it dawns on me
Another girl is also his
Screaming I run away from him
Past all the smiling faces
I collapse out the front of a house
Tears stream down my face
Sobs shake my body
A door opens, shuts, footprints coming closer to me
Looking up I see a new face
He kneels down
Wipes away a tear and looks into my eyes
"Crying doesn't suit you gorgeous"
A slight smile spreads across my face
He offers me a hand
Taking it I stand up on shaking legs
A new chapter in my life has begun
