In My Stars

by Beautiful Chaos   Jun 27, 2009

Constellations
Scream above
Below them
Two hearts live for love

Touch me once
To take my breath
To save me from
This living death

Inside your eyes
so blue, there hides
Silent waves
And setting tides

I wish to float
Away with you
And never wake
To what we knew

If once, your lips
Could steal a kiss
There'd never be
A thing we'd miss

Our flesh would burn
With passion's flame
A pyre of love
To prove the claim

Immortalized
Two lovers lie
Here forever
You and I

This was a beautiful poem, the flow was right on target and the rhyming fit perfectly. Your words held so much meaning and I enjoyed this write. The only thing I didn't particulary like was how you said, "Constellations scream above", I don't know it just didn't fit for me. Otherwise, great job as alwasy. Keep writing, forever and always.

    Have a good week.
