On That Night

She shined like the stars on the beach that night
Looking in his eyes; the source of her light
They lie on the sand and dreamed of their lives
Reading the story of the bright night sky
Hearing the waves, and watching the tide
They followed along side by side
Hand in hand they never let go
Where they are now, nobody knows
But one thing for sure, they are together
Because that night, he told her forever
So now they say on a very clear night
That they are those stars that shine so bright
