Letter to the Laureates

by Michael D Nalley   Jul 1, 2009

Dear Poets
I am the author of The Balance of the Heart, Soul, and, Mind. I wrote it with a broken heart, a sinful soul, and a mangled mind in the hope that my heart would heal, my mind would mend, and most importantly my soul could be saved. It all began with an affliction called loneliness, which I attempted to cure with poison painkillers better known as erotic love. I had to see for myself that though "Love crowns you it will also crucify you", as written by a master, was true . A love cannot be conquered by force and the ecstasy can only last as long as we can bleed willingly and joyfully, because I know of no one who has not been wounded by love. Who among us has not been tempted by the venomous viper with the forked tongue? Who has not the knowledge of good and evil, yet desire that which is not good for us. Yes, you and I have sought the ominous opiate of a fantasy to satisfy our hunger for the forbidden. We can only be saved by surrendering to true Love

Love Michael

`This line was really really strong and powerful to me.

Awesome write, loved the format of a letter I havent seen that in a while. Interesting thoughts youve brought forth here, and some very much the truth. You did a brilliant job, I enjoyed this.. far from cliche write. Although the format was not normal, you had my attention from beginning to end. Great way of expressing your thoughts of love.

    Well done.
