Washing Away the Past

by Levi   Jul 2, 2009

Welcome to the real world
I'm exposing the truth
To you're somber existence
When you wake up this won't be over
It's not just a bad dream
Your eyes will be opened
For the first time
Instead of living a makeshift fantasy
Take a deep breath
And hold on tight
Cause I'm right here
Watching over you
Even though I'm not always around
Just remember
When the rains come
So will the floods
to wash away the filth
And life will start again

So here's the thing..I usually don't like rhyming poems because I find a lot of times poeple just dont make sense with them....but this...I REALLY like this...short, easy to follow, and a really good message!

    Just remember
    When the rains come
    So will the floods
    to wash away the filth
    And life will start again

^^ I really liked this ending! Usually people talk about floods in a negative way, ruining their life sort of thing, ..but you turned this into a positive and I loved it!
    Good job!
