You were there

by InvisibleHourglass   Jul 2, 2009

I seemed shy
didn't I?
And true,
I had been
But that didn't matter with you
You were easy to talk to
Easy to share everything I was with
You listened and cared
Laughed when it was needed
Gasped when appropriate
I hadn't had a conversation like that
In months
Hadn't had anyone care about what I had to say
In ages
I hadn't had anyone keep me warm
No one to joke with
And be comfortable with
Nothing else really mattered
And the whole world could see it
I could tell you everything about me
And you knew me better in minutes
Than the world had in years
Ive had people tell me Ive changed
That I used to be a different person
I cant go back now
This is who I became
And you loved me for it
While everyone else denied it

I really liked this a whole lot.
I can really relate to this.
There are those people who are going
to care and there are going to be those
who dont give a damn, and this poem showed that this is true. People all want someone there for them to love and listen to them. There are those who want that and give it out and there are those who want that but treat others like they do not exist and I hate it. But this was a very good poem I think that everyone has that person who cares.
    5/5
    Take care,
