Last Night

by Ray Blue   Jul 3, 2009

For this mere existence,
Voiceless at the mountain's feet
Irrational words, darkened
Sensations lapsed, reverence

For these pale blue skies,
Sleepless at the unknown ocean's depth
Waves are made so fragile,
So many smiles in disguise

For this chaste moon,
My restless heart calls you
Shattering each enticing illusion
To touch the light of truth

For all we had last night,
Was the real me
Was all of me,
Was it not enough to make you stay?

Here I am again,
Poisoned by your reasons
Here I am again,
Love doesn' t judge

For all we had last night,
Was the real me
Was all of me,
Was it not enough to make you stay?

    'Poisoned by your reasons'
`Poisoned.. wow. That was impressive. Very powerful word.. well done.

Loved your repetition at the ending.. it was a great touch to your poem. :]
