Imperfection Is In Your Eyes.

by Thepainwithinme   Jul 3, 2009

Imperfection is in your eyes,
Sparkling like fire flies.
Even in your faults, I only see beauty.
Why can't you notice, why can't you see?
Hate flows in your heart,
Like a flower that's been torn apart.
Why can't you see your wonderful things.
Let me fix your broken wings.
Hope was taken from your mind.
Like a lost item you couldn't find.
I'll show you how to believe in yourself.
But you need to see, you need to help.
False pretense runs through your veins.
Like lightning running through clouds when it rains.
I can show you who you really are.
But I fear this has gone way too far.
Pain runs beneath your skin,
A protective layer that's way to thin.
Your thoughts slowly start to unwind,
Your heart turns a blind eye.
So, with a loss of hope, and no more to show.
I walk away and let you go.
