Just A Friend?

Love is like a fairytale,
At first it seems so true,
It is not until the very end,
you seek what you always knew.

It is there when you wake up,
It is there while you sleep,
Love can be like shards of glass,
That cut your skin too deep.

It always leaves a scar,
The no one else can see,
It is right there upon your heart,
Forever it will be.

No you can not erase it,
No matter how hard you try.
It will be there till the very end,
Until the moment you die.

The memories shall haunt you,
Little peices will remind you when,
You first fell in love,
What happened between now and then?

You will have moments when you think,
What did i do for them to leave?
You will find it hard to move on,
You will not realise, but you will grieve.

It is like you have lost someone,
Someone you miss so dear,
Someone that you want to talk to,
Someone that isn't there.

That person will stay in your heart,
Whether you like it or not,
And maybe to them,
You will be a person they just forgot.

But no matter how it turns out,
There will be someone at the end,
Someone that loves and adores you,
Someone that you think is just a friend.
