My Friend..I Need to Know?

When I look for you as I do, makes me
wonder if you're looking too?

To know my inner heart, you have not a
clue, yet, this is something that is new.

My thoughts are always descending your way,
it's hard to make them obey..I need to know, is this ok?

Our friendship means more than feelings that grow, yet.. I need to know, before I let them go.

If these are feelings that never can be, then I think it's best, I be honest with thee.

If this is something that we can explore,
then I need to know, before I close this door.
