Cant Give Up

by SilentSuicide   Jul 6, 2009

The heart can only take so much
Pressure may dig skin deep
Tears can flow like the rivers around the world.
For all hope they can't bother to keep

Dreams may shatter at their feet.
Scars of their life start to show.
All reasons to keep going seem repulsive.
With no reason to continue to grow.

Situations may scare them.
And they can't seem to let them die.
Pushing them to the past
Only to feel it haunt them again every try.

Each of us in this world
Need a place where we can be alone
A place of either paradise or destruction.
It's a place they may call home.

Some haven't a clue of how to help.
Some don't bother a second look.
Some know how helpless they feel.
But allow another life to be took.

However it matters not the pain.
Or the people who ignore it.
It's about the survival of whats rightful theirs
Their past and their future.

Continue to grow
Let nothing stand in the way
Force the skies to turn blue
While they always seem tinted grey.

They can never give up.
Their heart has yet to stop growing
Reasons to live are rightful ones.
And one day will start showing.
