The Just Queen

Looking tall,
She takes it all.
Standing strait,
Its running that her mind debates.

Hug her,
She'll hug back.
Push her,
She'll give you an excuse,
She'll cut you some slack.

Kiss her,
She'll run away.
Love her,
And she'll avoid you.

Tell her lies and shes quick to believe them.

Tell her of love
She'll never believe you.

Love is out of her vocabulary
Its long gone and now to her its scary.

She doesn't know whats wrong
But loving isn't right.
She crys softly alone.
Each and every night

She awaits her day in the sun.
She awaits the moment when two become one.

She lingers in the shadows now.
Slinking slick and on the prowl.

Torn to shreds all beat up inside.
Scars and wounds shes stooped trying to hide.

Its fear that killed beauty
And beauty who harmed the beast.
Yet from that day its his heart is to be heard from her breast.

Thump thump thump...
You hear it drum on...
as she moves steadily on...

Tick tock
Clicks her clock.
A hollow chime
as the clock sets on nine.

Deadly bust,
A weary just,
not so much worth it when its nine,

Here its nine and our prayer goes unheard...
Just leaving her here...worth it...
The just beauty of the Nile...
Not written in history
not even a memory file.
Nowhere was she neither was he.
The lost queen of the.....
