Last Light Glow

Torn and apart
inside midnight pleasures
bleeding the light
from dead-eye stars
in flight

approaching
the dark sea upon
my earth
for a proper burial
a final goodbye

their prayers left in heaven
always home
always alone
forever tucked away
deep into the sky
