Shall We Dance

by Sara   Jul 9, 2009

The day runs into the night,
Just as fast I could say.
I guess when I'm with him,
Time just speeds up.

As we are trapped in this trances,
Them around us look as blurred images.
Moving so fast,
But us, just as slow.

We take to an empty stage,
With the music in our heads,
My hand, his hand,
Conjoined as one.

We step as a whole,
A bit nearer,
To the center of the vast openness.
Shall We Dance.

His green eyes are all I see,
As we sway with the tunes he hums.
With no ending in sight,
We continue on till the dark turns to light.
