What Perfection Must Feel Like

by LiveMyLifeOnALullaby   Jul 10, 2009

The small specks of dust dance in the beam of light passing through the thin curtains
Their movement, so ellaborate and graceful that it is hard not to notice their beauty
Although very small, nothing can compare to their dance

Focusing away from the beautiful recital you realize the lack of something
Painful memories that have pierced your heart for what seemed to have been an eternity
The same ones that have burdened you throught difficult times are gone

The screaming that you once heard every second
The shrieks of your aching heart that was ready to give it all up
They cannot be heard. Not even as a faint whimper.

At this moment you realize what perfection must feel like.
So soothing. So peaceful. It's almost impossible to be true for someone with a past like yours.
But life is always worth living. No matter what one's past, present or future is.

-[ Just a note. I am writing this at 1 in the morning and I don't even know if this makes much sense. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.]-

It makes perfect sense. i loved it. in moments of pain you tend to wonder what perfection feels like. i know i do that. when my grandfather died i would look outside the window and look at the happy families laughing and enjoying eachother...i would think what it must feel like to be them. you said it much better than i did. lol. you pretty much captured human nature. good job. =]
