No Going Back

by Jad   Jul 11, 2009

AS I start to fall,
I remember again.
My costly sin,
That no one saw.

Three years ago,
I left everyone,
And started to run,
And I have nothing to show.

Left my friends and home.
In search of a new life,
But only found strife
Now all alone.

I want to return,
But I can't go,
Cause I know ,
The memories of me are burned.

I ruined several lives,
And I'm in regret,
But no matter how much I sweat,
I'll never recover those ties.

I hit the ground.
And close my eyes,
As I start to cry,
Without making a sound.

But there's no going back,
So I stand back up.
As my emotion erupt,
As I realize a new fact.

The fact that this.
This is my new life.
So I pick up the knife,
Then throw it down and continue this wish.

The last line was too long. So you may wanna fix that. Otherwise a short but emotion filled write. We cant overturn or fix the past, but yes it does cause many regrets for some but you eventually get past that and realize you cant do anything about it, no matter how difficult it is to accept that. Good job.
