One Little Betta Fish

by Good Enough   Jul 12, 2009

One little Betta fish
Swimming all alone
Looking at the distant world
Wondering where is home?

Stuck as the loner
In this little bowl
Swimming back and forth
Anger rising, no self control

Flaring little fins
Rise in defeat
This place is not a home
Her heart so incomplete

One little Betta fish
In a small place
Finally committed suicide
Jumping out of space.

This place is not a home
    Her heart so incomplete"

A simple metaphor of a person who is a fish, a sad little write but well written. It flowed wonderfully. Well done.
