Waves of Love

I wake and see her lying by my side,
It is then the wave of Love rollercoasters across my heart,

My eyes fill with tears of Joy and Thanks,
And I know that there is a God and he has Blessed me,

In silent prayer I give Thanks for all that has past,
Then also for the future ahead that will be full of his Love,

As my wave of Love eddies away, my tears dry,
She touches me and a new rollercoaster of Love hits my heart,

My want and Love become one and I guide her into my arms,
My prayer no longer silent I say, "Thank you Lord".
