Passing years do leave ghost behind for us and it amazing that something as simple as a walk can bring back those memories or ghost. Well done as usual.

what a stuning piece. The ghosts of our memories come flooding back. Sometimes we feel like being there again in simpiler times. When we were carefree and without so much of life's heartache.
    Excellent job!
    Take care

This poem is amazing. Each stanza that i red left me thinking...
"When dusk comes, I take my walk
    Meeting ghosts of Summers lost
Near the lake, they often flock
On the paths, in youth, I crossed". This is absolutely great, and so much of us can relates to this. Very well done 5/5, kel.

An amazing write! I loved this verse..

    "Voices calling on the breeze
Past the rocks where I would play
    Laughing banter through the trees
    Echoes from another day."

I loved how you captured how sometimes a simple incident , (here a walk) can suddenly bring childhood memories flooding back to our mind... and we feel we are transported back in time. You captured this so well :] ...
    I LOVED IT!

    Great work!

How the drifting white sands fly
    O'er this barren, windy shore
Like the years that pass me by
    Leaving ghosts forevermore.

    Excellent writting!

Wonderful... Wonderful. Was truly captured by this poem.

    Especially loved these two lines:

"Feeling lost and out of reach
    On this twilight rendezvous"

    Great word choice.

    Always,

Thanks Lostlove1. A melancholy walk at my hometown's lake inspired this one.
