Tuesday Morning

by brie kelly wise   Jul 15, 2009

NOTE: I read it after I wrote it and realized it sounded a little erotic. In truth, it has nothing to do with sex.

There's a weakness in the moonlight
A blend of fear and passion
Boy, I'm feeling the shake and the earth below
I let it go, can't let go

There's a darkness on the East Coast
A certain memory floats through the window
Boy, I'm feeling the nervous shaking in your hands
It's just a trance, just a tiny trance

The pain sets in as the sun rises
Hello, sweetheart, it's Tuesday Morning
Boy, I'm feeling the faith and desire
Like a fire, a burning fire
