Through the windows in my soul

by Nil   Jul 15, 2009

Your glances say more than your lips could compose
The saddened and the darkened undertones
Sympathetic vision through half closed eyes
You mumble something quietly about being fine
My eyes can clearly see, something is amiss
The words I'm screaming

(Let me help you through this)

my screams aren't vocal...
Told through the windows in my soul

(My dear, you can't make it alone...)

Whispering into yours
Sincerity of voice isn't something you can rely on

(You deserve the world and more)

The sun is setting... those darkened eyes fade away
I said everything lacking letters I could say
Regretfully... you just left anyway...
I'll continue though day after day

Singing lullabies while you sleep
To comfort the tormented soul
Deep... deep within.

(I just want to love you.)
