When surgery calls

by guy named Guy   Jul 16, 2009

Old scars
not completely healed
crowded halls
with voices echoing
all these people
all busy as bee's
I'm lying in bed
I'm getting cold
the medicine is kicking in
I'm going under
losing eyesight
with a flick of the wrist
I'm under the knife
scalpel in hand
with muffled heard voices
i feel the rhythm
of my own heartbeat
slowly it beeps
hands are shaking
sweat is pouring
blood freely flowing
I'm in a state with no turning back
i hear the word
like a shout in my ears
i hear them say
we're losing him
with the needle in my arm
adrenaline slowly seeps in
heartbeat pacing
slowly fading
i wake up
my chest is heavy
minute pass by
as i lay here wondering
counting all the stitches
i ask myself

DID I JUST DIE!!!

(hey uhmm I'm still at the hospital.. I'm using my laptop to type this.. I'm actually surprised at how the wifi here isn't that bad.. but yeah ill be on my feet in about a couple of days so don't you all worry the surgery went without a hitch.. so I'm still alive.. lol.. )
