Washed Away.

by Steven Beesley   Jul 18, 2009

You don't mince your words,
nor do you hide your
deep down flawed feelings.

As I read these words,
they sweep over me
like a tsunami.

Why and where your
biased adulterated
views came from I don't know?

But it is too late, nor do I
really care, as life is too
short to deal with such pointless
petty rebuke.

    You words are so true.

But it is too late, nor do I
really care, as life is too
short to deal with such pointless
    petty rebuke.

Life is too short. We need to surround ourselves with those we love and whom love us.
    Good job!

Your words are wise and well said. We spend to much time on what others say or do. When it's in ourselves that matters in the end
    Very enjoyable read

Nice to see you Steven. This sounds like it was written for a particular person to let them know you have moved on in your life and don't have time for their petty words. Good job.
