A False Touch

by JoeyCyanide   Jul 18, 2009

Lying awake at night,
Wondering what she is doing.
Wishing that she were there,
Right beside you...

With each passing breath,
Your heart throbs a little deeper.
With each beat,
You ponder keeps a wonder.
With each thought,
A tear begins a cast...

Wanting to feel her warmth,
Hear the tick of her heart.
Watch each cascading fall,
From each respire of spirits.
Observe her quiver,
At every touch...

As night slowly rolls to day,
Longing for the sun to just go away,
And the moon to come back and play...
