Her last good bye

by miracle   Jul 21, 2009

Will this day ever end?
i don't know how many more
times this fake smile can bend.

this body is merly an empty shell,
once I'm set free among the stars
is Ware this soul wishes to dwell.

read the heart monitor,
watch the spikes fade across the screen.
time to say good bye.
these raven wings stretch out to fly.

the code is called.
i hear nothing.
i fly from the bed, my only sight,
above me is the light.
good bye in one breath.

the Doctor calls time of death.

You've managed to find the balance of science and feelings in this one, babe:) you've kept it natural and yet with a supernatural glow to it that makes the reader wonder': is there life after death?

    goood job!!
