I was watching and waiting for that time

I wrote in my poem I said "you look fragile"
I quickly added you were "strong and agile"
You didnt tell me your life would be short
When my life was in danger and friends left
Funmi stood by me during the nights I wept
I remember when I didnt have money in school
you generated controversies, was called a fool
because you will give me two-thirds of your meal
(I guess thats why I am bigger than you... hmn... Funmi)
We argued, we frowned, above all we loved
Why, is life unfair to the one who is full of it
God I accept your decision but I would alway ask
