There are times
when I want to get back at people
Whether they notice
their harmful ways towards me or not
At my level of faith
I don't think I would care
But then I do care
to be an example to them
Either it's holy anger
or fleshly anger
I wouldn't know
And at the end
I don't commit the deed.
Such as talk back, hit back, yell, wake up people early in the morning for them making noise for me to hear
leaving the tug-a-war to the one tugging
While the one doing
neither tugging nor waring
wins my heart and effort.
Let it be, God.
Let it be that You grant me
the strength to overcome
such difficult situations.
With Your truth and Word.
