How Relationships Are Built

by SpriteRight   Jul 23, 2009

Tears fall down like rainbows lighting up the sky
his frigid hands stop trembling, as the passerby's walk by
she's holding out for marriage, waiting for right times
he's dying deep inside to pass that thickened line

the days go by like months and years
and they're losing all the discipline
they've taught themselves this year.

prayers seem never answered,
hormones sprout out more,
like flowers being watered
strictly needing more...

they've held out way too long, tensions getting high
but something rises deep inside him
that sends him running home.

they'll have to wait 'til another day
to free themselves of guilt,
since sex before marriage isn't the way,
that's not how relationships are built

This was a very realistic way of bringing your message across. You wrote it in such a beautiful way that it was like a word of wisdom. 5/5
