Ive taken flight
trying to find my way toward the light
I spread my wings
I guess it isn't over when the fat lady sings
That time was long over due
but the darkness in my heart just grew
I attempt to soar
I have no strength anymore
My wings begin to expand
I want to leave this empty land
I try to to fly
but i just hold my face and cry
I try to ascend
these negative emotions i cannot mend
even try to float
but to this goal my heart just wont devote
I try to glide
how much more of this unbearable pain can I bide?
As I take off of the ground
I feel as if I will be forever bound
That's the dream that I forsaken...
The dream that one day flight will be taken
