Could Never Replace You

by Kayla   Jul 24, 2009

Every single day,
Seems a little harder than the last.
It's so crazy to think,
You're now a part of my past.

I just can't help but wonder,
Whatever went so wrong?
It ended before it began,
Like a broken love song.

You were my Prince Charming,
Came and swept me off my feet.
Now I feel so completely dead,
How can my heart still manage to beat?

We crashed and burned so suddenly,
I didn't even know what to say.
I can't believe how difficult it is,
Trying to make it through each passing day.

I hold back so many tears,
Every time a white truck passes by.
I always hope it's you this time,
But to others, I have to lie.

Why is it that I still get weak,
Whenever I picture your soft brown eyes?
I can't get enough of you baby,
Though I know you're nothing but lies.

So now I sit here missing you,
With tears pouring down my face.
Though you're truly nothing but lies,
You're something I could never replace.

I miss you baby... what we had was real. </3
