Today's Kid...

Kid's don't go outside anymore,
But spend their lives locked up indoors.
Too much telly.. and videos games,
Enough to drive a mind insane!

Gone are the days,
Running young and free.
Sometimes you wouldn't
Be home for tea!

You'd be stuck up a tree,
Or finding a bee's nest.
And it didn't matter if you,
Weren't dressed your best!

But designer kids now rule the day,
And messy things just get in the way.
Don't make a mess, there's too much fuss,
Today's kids are just missing so much!

    Yes how right you are!! Too much telly, video
    games..well written.

    But designer kids now rule the day,
    And messy things just get in the way.

    Today's kids are missing out alot. They are
    letting life go by..good write!

    Truer words were never written. I remember when I was young and we could make play things out of boxes, spools, boards, anything around the house and play outside for hours on end until night fell. Good job with this.
