Hate Me Like I Do

by Lolpez   Jul 25, 2009

Crawling away from light
Denying the spark which ignites
Yet wishing for nothing more
Than a knock on the door
So that I may explode tonight

Don't touch me
Don't love me
Hate me like I do
Just as I despise being alone
Let me dig this grave in solitude.....

I liked this very much, its simple in appearence and format, yet the meaning drives so much deeper. This is a truly...enticing poem. It makes me wonder about my own self-destructive action. Very nice.

I'm glad I ran across this. It was short but it captured me from the start. Left me wanting more and that's the sign of a good poet
