A Wall

by Jay Perry Jr   Jul 25, 2009

A wall, there is a huge brick wall
Standing in between us
Blocking our love
I try, to get to the other side
Tried going through
It was no use
So i got on my knees and cried
The rain poured tears out my eyes
Looked up to the sky
Asking what can i do
To just get through
Get back beside you
The clouds, started turning to gray clouds
Rain poured down on the ground
Made me feel hopeless now
But she, she screamed out to me
Saying baby please
In you i believe
So i finally stood up on my feet
Her words were all i need
To regain hope in me
Ill get through
Get back beside you
So i climb, to get to the other side
I hear her calling my name
The closer i became
Every step i take
At the top, i saw her and it relieved my heart
To know that shes ok
She's ok
Then i climbed, once more with her on my mind
I cant wait to see her pretty face
And give her my embrace
On the ground, i saw her beautiful smile
She embraced me and didn't let go
I wont either no no

Well expressed... I liked it :) The opening lines are good, and kept me reading. When love is regained our hearts are full of hope and strength again..

Well done! and keep up the good work Jay!

    Best wishes,
    Olwin.

Song? it had a sense of melody. Just wondering. Anyhoo, very nicely written. You expressed yourself well. It makes the reader feel emotion as they read so thats always a good thing. 5/5
